I don't know much about Caledonia's girls basketball team. I scanned a recording of three games they played, Fr, JV, varsity against Hudsonville. It wasn't pretty unfortunately.
I am not trying to pile on there, but the final score of the varsity contest was 77-25 Hudsonville. The other two games were similar. One games(s) doesn't define a season, but...I really don't know what to say other than that is really awful. That isn't just getting beat, but humiliated. The clock was running for at least a portion of the game.
I don't know anything about their "program" but if you are getting beat that badly by a league team and all of your teams get similarly trashed, you have multiple problems.
My suggestion, kind of looking at it on a higher level here...if you want to be a winning program, start to do things like a winning program does. It isn't something that can be done overnight, unfortunately. It's a fairly simple concept, but one that is both simple and almost impossible to execute.
